REGULAR D2006 VISITOR - VIDEO & AUDIO - TEXT

Direction 2006 & Operation Lifesaver
Title: Interview - Mike Pringle (Montréal Alouettes)

Announcer:
An important (safety) message about trains…

Sideline interviewer:
We’re on the sidelines talking to Mike Pringle of the Montréal Alouettes…
(Music/football game sound fx
Sound of football game, whistle, crowd noise)

Sideline interviewer:
Mike, that was some hit… it must’ve been like getting hit by a train…

Pringle:
Not really Bob…
a train weighs thousands of tons…
.and it comes down the tracks at up to 160 kilometers an hour…
In fact, it takes a train about 2 seconds to travel the entire length of the football field…
(sound fx - train, bells, whistle)
so if I got hit by a train, I wouldn’t be standing here talking about it.

Sideline interviewer:
Uh, good point…
(Music/fx)

Announcer:
If you’re around trains, keep your distance (play it safe) and stay in the game.
A message from Direction 2006 and Operation Lifesaver.
